Newly Qualified Teachers
Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher? You have come to the right place! Choices Newly qualified teachers often choose to work as a supply teacher in order to broaden their experience of different school environments and to increase their experience of differing age groups. Some NQTs wish to broaden their experience before committing to a permanent post. Developing teaching and learning skills through the supply route is becoming an increasingly acceptable path to qualified teacher status for NQTs. Supply teaching will only add to your development as a good classroom practitioner by offering you experience in a vast array of schools. Supply teaching specifically is a great way to network with different schools and this can lead to permanent opportunities. Professional Development Supply teaching is also a great way of observing and learning from other teachers, gaining experience in different school environments. Schools value the support supply teachers provide and they appreciate the enthusiastic and fresh approach that NQTs bring to the classroom. Supply teaching will not hinder you but add great experience to your CV and often lead to permanent job opportunities. Induction As an NQT you can complete your induction year through a supply teaching agency. The same rules apply, you have to do three terms of induction and CCES can help find you a school that will offer you a one, two or three term post. You don’t have to do three terms at the same school this can be split up in to three different terms at different schools. If a newly qualified teacher secures a temporary or permanent post through CCES then we would ensure that they would receive appropriate support with their Induction programme. Support CCES will invite you for in for an Interview/Induction Meeting where a consultant will help you to consider your options and future career objectives. They will also help you to identify your skills and personality type to ensure that you are placed in a schools that suit your needs and will help you to develop as a teacher. Classroom Call Education Services are a specialist recruitment agency based in Colchester in Essex and we work with schools throughout Colchester and the counties of Essex and Suffolk to find suitable permanent teachers, supply teachers and support staff. |
