During the interview the expectations of schools regarding supply teachers and supply teaching are discussed at length and the interview is used as a form of induction. The safety and protection of children is of the highest priority to CCES and therefore the interview is also used to vet a teacher’sapplication so that schools can feel confident that appropriate teachers are working in their schools.
Job description
All our teachers have a job description, which outlines their specific role and responsibilities.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities
At interview these are fully discussed and information provided in order that our teachers are made fully aware of the needs and expectations of schools in relation to supply cover.
Allocation of Teachers
Careful consideration is given to the requirements of schools before teachers are allocated. We always attempt to match specific teaching assignments to the individual skills; specialism’s and practices of our registered teachers. We want teachers to experience maximum job satisfaction in order that schools receive excellent teaching. We have a number of overseas trained teachers registered with CCES. These teachers make a unique contribution to schools through their different cultural and teaching experiences.
Monitoring Teacher Performance
